Fancy Jari Art

Fancy Jari Art is our small workshop in Sagrampura. If you’re looking for us, we are at the 2nd Cross, just off Hosur Road. Hosur Road is always a bit of a nightmare with the traffic, but once you turn off into the 2nd Cross, things settle down a bit. We’ve been working on jari art here for a long time. It’s a traditional kind of thing, and we aren't using any big machines for it. It’s mostly just sitting down and being careful with our hands. The shop is small and filled with materials, so there isn't much room to move around, but it suits us just fine. We don't have a fancy website or a bunch of social media pages. Most of the people who come to us have been doing so for years. They know where we are tucked away in Sagrampura. It’s a local business through and through. We don't have any corporate goals or big plans to expand. We just want to keep doing our art and making sure the work is okay. Sometimes we have a tea together in the afternoon and talk about the neighborhood. It’s a slow pace of life inside the shop, even if Hosur Road is moving fast right outside the door. We’re just happy to be here at the 2nd Cross doing what we know how to do. It’s been our livelihood for ages now.
