Deliwala Brothers

We’ve been here in Udhyog Nagar for a long time now. My brother and I started this place when things around here looked a lot different than they do today. Most days, we get in early, open up the metal shutters, and just get to work. It’s a busy area with a lot of noise from the other workshops and small factories nearby. People around here know us as the Deliwala Brothers, though most just call us by our names when they walk in to say hello. The shop isn't fancy at all. We have some old wooden chairs and a desk that’s seen better days, but it works for what we need. Sometimes the tea stall guy from around the corner brings us some chai while we are sorting through things. We don't really do much advertising because most people who need us already know where we are located. It’s funny how the years go by. You start one morning and suddenly ten years have passed in the same spot. We deal with all sorts of people coming through Udhyog Nagar. Some are in a big hurry, others want to sit and talk for an hour. We just take it as it comes. It gets pretty hot in the afternoons here, so we usually keep the fan running full blast. My brother handles most of the paperwork while I talk to the people coming in. It’s a simple arrangement but it keeps the peace. We just keep our heads down.
