Coffee King

You can find us over at Abhinandan Heights, right at units 1 and 2. We are situated right across from Trinity Business Park, which stays busy most of the week. Madhuvan Circle is just a stone's throw away, so there is always some noise from the cars and bikes passing by in Adajan Gam. We open up pretty early to get things ready before the office crowd starts showing up. It’s mostly just us making drinks and keeping the tables tidy for whoever walks in. The floors need sweeping constantly because of the dust from the street. We don’t have any big corporate backer or anything like that. It is just a small operation here in the building. Some days it gets really crowded and we have to work fast to keep up with the orders. Other times, like in the middle of the afternoon, it’s quiet enough to hear the fridge humming. We keep our supplies in the back and try to stay organized, even though the space is a bit tight. We’ve been serving this neighborhood for a while and know many of the regulars by their first names. Coffee King is just a simple shop, measuring coffee and chatting with people while the steam wand hisses. We don’t do much advertising, word of mouth around the business park seems to do the trick for us. It’s just how we like it. We focus on the coffee and let the rest take care of itself.
