Coffee Culture The Ristorante Lounge

You can find us at Parle Points, right across from the Sargam Shopping Centre. It is a very busy area, especially on the weekends when everyone is out shopping. We are more of a lounge setup, so we have some comfortable seating where people can relax. The interior is a bit more decorated than a standard stall, but it’s still just a place for food and coffee at the end of the day. We spend a lot of time wiping down menus and making sure the cushions are straight. The evening rush is usually the hardest part of the day because everyone comes in at once after the shops across the street start to close up. It gets quite loud with people chatting and the sound of the espresso machine. We have a kitchen in the back where we prepare some snacks and meals. It gets hectic back there, and sometimes things get a bit messy, but we clean it up as we go. We aren't trying to be the most luxurious place in the city. We just want to provide a spot where people can sit down after a long day of walking around the mall. The staff is mostly young people from the area who are working while they finish school. We just do our best.
