Cafe Coffee Day

Our shop is situated on Dumas Road, near the Magadi Main Road 3 area. It’s a place that sees a lot of different people every day because of the location. We spend a lot of time just keeping the place running. The tables need constant wiping because people are always coming and going. I usually start my shift by checking the beans and making sure the fridge is cold enough for the milk. The traffic outside on Dumas Road is almost never quiet, so there's always a hum of engines in the background. We have a few couches and some wooden chairs. They are okay to sit in for a quick break. We get a lot of students who stay for a couple of hours doing their work at this Cafe Coffee Day. As long as they don't make too much noise, we don't really mind. Sometimes the Wi-Fi acts up and I have to reset the router, which is a bit of a pain during the lunch rush. We don't do anything special here, just make the drinks and serve the snacks we have. The back room where we keep the extra stock is a bit of a mess, but I try to organize it when things slow down in the afternoon. It’s a steady job and we see a lot of interesting people. We just keep the lights on and the coffee hot for whoever happens to stop by while traveling on Magadi Main Road.
