Cafe Coffee Day

We are located on City Light Road, right near the Arun Industrial Estate and that big Hindustan Marble Road. It’s a busy spot, mostly because of all the trucks and people working nearby. I usually get here early to start the machines and get the chairs moved around. The floor always needs a good sweep because of the dust coming off the road. We have those big glass windows that look out onto the traffic, and I spend a lot of time wiping the fingerprints off them. It’s just a regular Cafe Coffee Day. People come in, sit for a bit, use the internet, and then head out. We have some sandwiches and cakes in the display case, but mostly it's just about the coffee. Sometimes the milk delivery is late and we have to wait around, which is annoying, but we manage. The regulars usually want the same thing every morning. I don’t have to ask anymore; I just see them coming and start the order. The air conditioning is okay, though it can get a bit stuffy when the place is full of people with their laptops. We try to keep the music at a level where you can still talk. It’s not a fancy setup, just a place to get out of the sun for a while. We stay open pretty late because there’s always someone looking for a drink after work. It’s a lot of washing mugs and tidying up the tables before we can finally go home.
