Our work happens at A 217 Ruby Apartment, which is right on the main Varachha Road. Being near Rajhans Point makes it a pretty central location for anyone living in this part of Surat. It is an apartment-based setup, so it feels more like a workspace than a traditional retail store. We focus on art here, and that covers a variety of things depending on what people are looking for. The Varachha area is always moving fast, and there is never a dull moment outside our windows. Inside, it's a bit more focused. We have our supplies spread out and we spend the day working on different pieces. Sometimes we get distracted by the noise from the road, but usually, we are too deep into whatever we are drawing or designing to notice much. It is just a small operation, nothing too complicated. We don't have a reception desk or a bunch of staff in uniforms. It’s just us doing the work. People usually call ahead or just drop by if they are in the building. We’ve found that being in an apartment suits the kind of art we do because it gives us the quiet we need compared to a ground-floor shop. We aren't looking to become some huge agency; we just like creating things and being part of the local scene here near Rajhans Point. It’s a simple life, and we are quite content with how things are going day to day.
