Banarasi Pan & Coldrinks House

We are located at Palanpur Nd, right on Laxman Rao Lane, shops A 7 and 8. It’s a decent-sized spot for a pan house. We’ve been here since the neighborhood started growing. The name says Banarasi because that is the style of pan we grew up with and what we know how to make best. We have the usual jars of ingredients lined up and the fridge is always humming in the background. Laxman Rao Lane is usually full of people moving about, so we get a lot of foot traffic. It’s a simple setup with two shop spaces joined together. We sell cold drinks, snacks, and different types of pan. Some days are slow, especially when it rains hard and people stay indoors. But mostly, it’s pretty steady. We don’t use any fancy machines or anything like that. Everything is done by hand, the way it’s always been. We get our supplies from the local markets and try to keep things fresh. The shop is nothing special to look at, just a regular place with some benches outside where people can sit if they aren't in a hurry. We’ve seen kids grow up in this area and now they come in as adults. It’s just a normal, local business. We keep the doors open late because that’s when most people want a pan anyway. We often sit outside ourselves when the shop is quiet and just watch the street.
