Balaji Tea

Balaji Tea is located at Plot No. 56 in Udhana, right in the Trikamnagar area. If you know the Bajrang Bali Mandir, you’ll find us easily because we’re quite close to it. Being near the temple means we hear the bells and see the crowds every Tuesday and Saturday. The shop itself is a straightforward place. We don’t go for anything decorative or modern. It’s mostly just stacks of tea crates and some old wooden furniture where we sit and do the daily accounts. Our neighbors are mostly families and some small workshops around here. People come in looking for their daily tea, and we just weigh it out for them. It’s a dusty part of town, but that’s just how it is in Udhana. We’ve seen the area change over the years, with more buildings going up and more traffic on the road, but the tea stays pretty much the same. It’s a bit of a squeeze when a new shipment arrives and we have to move everything around to fit the bags in. We don't use any fancy machines, just old scales and scoops. Most of the day is spent just chatting with the locals who stop by while they’re out running errands. It’s a quiet living, and we like it that way. We aren't trying to be the biggest place around, just a reliable spot where you can get your tea without any fuss.
