Akshar Steel Fabrication

Our workshop is tucked away in the Ghayal Compound along the Udhna Magdalla Road. It’s been Akshar Steel Fabrication for a long time now. If you come by, you’ll probably hear the sound of welding and grinding before you even see the sign. It’s a dusty place, as you’d expect from a steel yard. We work with a lot of heavy metal sheets and pipes, turning them into whatever the customer needs. Being behind the B. R. C. Police Chowky makes it easy for people to find us, even if the compound itself is a bit crowded. We have a few guys who have been welding since they were teenagers. It’s hard work, especially in the afternoon heat, but there’s a sense of satisfaction when a big frame is finally finished. We don’t have a fancy showroom. Most of our meetings happen right there on the shop floor with the smell of burnt metal in the air. Sometimes the delivery trucks have a hard time squeezing into the compound, but we manage to make it work. We just take one project at a time and try to get the measurements right. It’s about being precise with the tools and making sure the welds hold up. We aren't trying to be anything we aren't, just local guys doing metal work. The sparks fly all day long and the noise is constant, but that is just how we earn a living. We keep things simple and honest here.
