Raynet Agro Farmer Producer Company is tucked away in Village Draba, and you can find us at Dr. Mohd Rashid’s place near the 100 KVA area. It’s a rural setting, so we are surrounded by the very farms we work with. Being a producer company means we are a group of farmers who decided to team up. We don't have a big corporate office; we mostly meet up at the doctor’s house or out in the fields to discuss what needs to be done. The village of Draba is small, so everyone knows everyone, and we don't need any fancy signs to tell people where we are. Our work involves a lot of walking around and checking on how the crops are growing. We deal with the realities of farming life, like pests or a bad rainy season, without any sugar-coating. There’s no big staff here, just a few of us handling the records and trying to get a better deal for our produce. Sometimes we sit out under the trees to talk about the company business because it’s cooler than being indoors. It’s a very grassroots kind of operation. We started this because we wanted to have more control over our own work, and so far, we are just taking it one day at a time. It’s not always easy, and the paperwork can be a headache, but we keep at it because it’s our land. We just want to do right by the local farmers.
