Kupwara Agro Fresh Private Limited

Our office is located at 287 Nursing Garh in the Balgarden area of Srinagar. Even though we have Kupwara in our name, we run the main business from here in the city because it’s easier to coordinate everything. Balgarden is a busy part of Srinagar, and our building is right in the mix of things. We deal with agro-fresh products, mostly bringing in stuff from the northern areas and getting it ready for the market. The office is often full of crates or bags, and there's usually a phone ringing somewhere. We aren't a big corporation with fancy departments. It’s just a few of us making sure the produce doesn’t sit around too long. We have to be quick because fresh food doesn't wait for anyone. The traffic in Srinagar can be a real headache when we’re trying to move goods, but we’ve learned the shortcuts over the years. We spend our days talking to suppliers and checking the quality of what comes in. It’s a lot of physical work, even in the office, moving things around and checking weights. We don't have a lot of time for sitting still. If you come to see us, you’ll likely find us in the middle of a delivery or sorting through paperwork. It’s a bit messy and loud sometimes, but that’s just how we work. We like staying busy and keeping the fresh food moving through the city to where it needs to go.
