Doon International School

Doon International School is located right here in Srinagar, specifically in the 190001 area. It’s a familiar spot for many families living in the city center. We operate out of a building that has seen plenty of seasons. Dealing with the weather in Srinagar is just part of our daily life. When it snows, we’re out there clearing the paths so the kids can get inside. Inside, it’s just a normal school environment. We have classrooms for different ages and a staff that shows up every morning ready to work. We don't use a lot of big words to describe what we do. It’s about getting the students to their seats and through their books. Some days are busier than others, especially when exams are coming up. We’ve got a mix of older and newer furniture. You might hear the traffic from the Srinagar streets nearby, but once the doors are shut, it’s mostly just the sound of lessons. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us running the place and making sure the building is kept up. People in the 190001 district know where to find us. It’s a practical place for learning. We keep the schedule simple. Every day is pretty much the same routine, which helps everyone know what to expect. It's just a local school doing its job for the kids in the city.
