Science Daan

We are based out in Nunar, Ganderbal. It’s a quiet area compared to the city, and our setup here reflects that. Science Daan is really just about bringing some practical knowledge to the local community. We don't have a massive building or anything like that. It’s a modest space where we keep our equipment and materials. Most of the time, we’re busy organizing things or talking to people from the nearby villages. It’s important to us that people understand how things work in the real world. We aren’t professors in a big university; we are just people who like science and want to share it. The rooms are filled with bits and pieces of experiments and some old books. It can get a bit cold here in the winter, so we usually have a heater going while we work. We spend a lot of our time just figuring out how to explain complicated things in a simple way. It’s a slow pace of life in Ganderbal, and we like it that way. We don’t have a big team, just a few of us who care about learning. Sometimes people drop by just to see what we are up to or to ask a question about something they saw. We try to be helpful whenever we can. It’s a small operation, but it keeps us busy and feels useful to the folks around here. We don't use big words or fancy gadgets, just what we have on hand in our small office space.
