Guru Prasad Udupi Restaurant

We are located in the DDA Shopping Complex in Munirka. Our restaurant is close to the Capital Court Building in Phase 2. It is a busy part of Delhi with a lot of offices and students living nearby. We focus on Udupi style food, so we have things like dosas and idlis. The place is not very big. During the lunch hour, it gets quite crowded and people often have to wait for a stool to open up. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls. It is just a plain, functional space. The staff has been here for a while and they move fast to keep up with the orders. We use standard ingredients and cook things the way they have always been done in our family. Sometimes the noise from the shopping complex is a bit much, but that is part of being in Munirka. We don't spend money on fancy uniforms or big glowing signs. We just have our small kitchen and the seating area out front. It is a local business and we run it ourselves. There are many other places to eat around here, but we have our own regulars who have been coming to us for years. We keep the prices as low as we can because we know most people are just looking for a simple meal during their work day.
