Yogendra Rawat

I’m Yogendra Rawat and I’ve got my small operation set up at 34/B in the Railway Colony. If you know the Tughlkabad area, you know it’s got its own rhythm. Being in New Delhi 44 is convenient for me, especially since the colony has its own little community feel to it. I’ve been at this for a while now, working out of this space. My office isn't a fancy corporate park, just a regular building where I can focus on what needs doing. The trains are always moving nearby, which adds a bit of background noise, but I don’t mind it much anymore. This environment is just part of the atmosphere here. I like the fact that everything is unpretentious. Money isn't spent on fancy furniture or big ads. My tools and my desk are all I really need to get through the day. Most of my work comes from people nearby or folks who’ve heard about me through word of mouth. Trying to stay organized is the goal, but honestly, there are days when the paperwork piles up a bit. That’s just life, I suppose. One man running a local business in a busy railway neighborhood can be a lot. It keeps me grounded and gives me a sense of belonging to this part of Delhi. Nothing too complicated about it. It’s just me and my work, and I’ve been here long enough that the sound of the trains just feels like part of the workday now.
