Nita Mehta Culinary Academy

We are the Nita Mehta Culinary Academy and we are based in Taimoor Nagar. The address is 10/1, right in New Friends Colony. It’s a nice area of New Delhi. We spend most of our time in the kitchen. It’s where all the teaching happens. We have students coming in who want to learn how to cook better. Some are just starting out and some know a few things already. We use a lot of different spices and ingredients every day. The smell in the building is always changing depending on what’s on the stove. We don't use a lot of fancy words for what we do. We just show people how to handle a knife and how to get the flavors right. The academy is a busy place, especially on weekends. We have big counters and plenty of ovens. Sometimes things get a bit messy when we are in the middle of a big recipe, but that’s just how cooking is. We focus on practical things that people can actually do at home. Taimoor Nagar can be a bit tricky to navigate if you aren't from around here, but once you find us, it’s a friendly place. We aren't a big corporate school. We just love food and teaching others how to make it. It’s about getting your hands dirty and learning something new. Our academy in Taimoor Nagar is not just a school but a place where we share our love for spices. We started this because we saw how much people wanted to cook real food at home. It doesn't matter if you have never boiled an egg before. We will show you the right way. We have a lot of regular classes and there is always plenty of laughing.
