You can find us over at A-70 A on the second floor in Duggal Colony. This is part of the Khanpur Extension on Devoli Road in New Delhi. If you’ve ever been to this area, you know how narrow the lanes can get and how much traffic there is on the main road. Our office is tucked away, and you have to climb a few flights of stairs to get to us. We deal with home furnishings, so the rooms are often packed with samples of rugs, cushions, and curtains. It can get a bit cluttered, but we know where everything is. The light coming through the windows isn't the best, so we have plenty of lamps around. We spend our days talking to suppliers and trying to figure out the best way to get things shipped out through the crowded streets. It’s a very hands-on job. There isn't much room for a fancy lounge or anything; every inch is used for storage or a desk. The noise from the street below never really stops, but you get used to it after a while. Most of us eat our lunch right at our desks because there isn’t much extra space. We’ve been in this spot in Khanpur for a while now, and we’ve gotten used to the quirks of the building, like the light switch that sticks sometimes or the way the door creaks. It’s just a normal place for us.
