Venkatesh Food Industries

We’re located at 315, Hemkunt Tower, which is at 98, Nehru Place. If you know Delhi, you know Nehru Place is the spot for everything business and tech. Our office is way up in the tower, so we get a decent view of the rooftops and all the people scurrying around below. Venkatesh Food Industries isn't exactly a high-tech firm, but we needed to be central, so here we are. The elevators in this building are always packed, especially around lunchtime. We spend our days managing the food industry side of things, mostly coordination and paperwork. It’s a bit of a contrast being in a big corporate-looking tower while dealing with basic food stuff. The office is pretty functional. We have our desks, a computer that’s a bit slow, and plenty of files. It gets noisy in the hallways with people from other offices constantly passing by. We usually get our tea from the guy downstairs who has a small stall near the entrance. It’s easier than trying to make it ourselves in the tiny pantry. Nehru Place has a certain energy, and it keeps us on our toes. We don’t have a big mission statement on the wall; we just try to get our orders sorted and keep the suppliers happy. It's a lot of work, but we’re used to the pace by now. Most days are long, but we just get through the pile on our desks.
