V K Solar

V K Solar is located at C 38 on the Ground Floor in Greater Kailash Part 1. Being on the ground floor is handy because we don't have to lug heavy solar panels up any stairs, which is a huge relief for our backs at the end of the day. GK1 is a busy area with lots of shops and people, so there is always something to see out the window. Our office is a mix of a workspace and a storage area. We have panels stacked up and boxes of wiring everywhere. It’s not the most organized place in the world, but we know where everything is kept. We started this because we liked the idea of using the sun for power, and it just grew from there over the years. We aren't the kind of people who use big marketing slogans. We just talk to the customers like we’re talking to our neighbors. Sometimes we spend more time drinking tea and chatting than actually looking at the plans, but that’s how you build a real connection with someone. The area around C 38 is pretty nice, and we’ve gotten used to the morning rush and the quiet moments in the late afternoon. We aren't a giant corporation with hundreds of employees. It’s just a few of us here making sure things get installed correctly. We like the work we do and we like being in this part of Delhi. It’s a good life.
