We work out of Block No. 14 in the C.G.O. Complex, right on Lodhi Road. It is a large government area, so there are always people moving around and security at the gates. Ministry Of New And Renewble Energy takes up a good chunk of space here. The office is filled with desks, stacks of files, and a lot of computers that have seen better days. It is not the most modern-looking place, but it is where the work happens. Lodhi Road is quite nice with the trees, though the traffic during rush hour is a nightmare for everyone coming in. Inside, we have different sections handling various projects. It is a lot of paperwork and meetings, to be honest. We spend a lot of time on the phone or responding to letters that come in from all over. The canteen downstairs is where most of us grab lunch, usually some simple dhal and rice. It is a quiet environment for the most part, except when a big deadline is approaching. We have a lot of cupboards full of old records and some posters on the walls about different energy projects. It is a steady place to work. We come in, do our hours, and head home. The lift in Block 14 can be a bit slow, so many of us just take the stairs if we aren't going too high up. It's just a standard office routine for us every single day.
