Surana Telecom Ltd is tucked away in Gali No 2 in Tughalka Bad, right near Rajasthan House. It’s a busy little street. House No Rz 1/46 A isn't hard to find once you get into the lane. We’ve been here for a while. The office is pretty small, and we have wires and boxes everywhere. It’s the nature of the business, I guess. We deal with a lot of technical stuff every day. Sometimes the phones don’t stop ringing, and other times it’s quiet enough to hear the birds outside. We aren't some massive corporation with hundreds of employees. There’s just a handful of us making sure everything works like it should. Kalkaji is a lively area to be in. There’s always someone selling snacks on the corner. We don’t really have a big sign outside, just a small one by the door. The stairs up to the office are a bit narrow, so you have to be careful if you’re carrying anything. We don’t spend much time worrying about how the place looks to outsiders. As long as the equipment is running and we’re keeping up with the schedule, we’re happy. We usually have a pot of coffee going in the morning. It’s a bit cramped when we get a new shipment in, but we manage to find space. It’s an honest way to make a living, and we like being part of the local community here in Kalkaji.
