Suryashakti Energy Resources Pvt Ltd is located in 305/72 Nehru Place, inside Laxmi Bhawan. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s the heart of everything related to tech and hardware in Delhi. It is loud, crowded, and there is always someone trying to sell you something on the stairs. Our office is up on the third floor. It’s a busy little space because there’s always something going on with energy projects. Even though the name sounds a bit official because of the 'Pvt Ltd' part, we are actually a pretty small team. We spend most of our time looking at diagrams or talking to suppliers in the market downstairs. It’s a great place to be because everything we need is just a short walk away. The elevator in Laxmi Bhawan is often slow, so we end up taking the stairs a lot, which keeps us moving. We aren't into the whole corporate culture of long meetings and fancy suits. Most of the time we are just in our shirtsleeves trying to figure out the best way to set up a solar array for a client. We’ve been in Nehru Place for a good while, and we’ve seen businesses come and go, but we’ve managed to stick around by just being honest about what we can do. It’s a hectic life in Laxmi Bhawan, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else because the energy here is just right.
