Treasure Fort Mart Private Limited is on the ground floor at 1-6/478 in Sangam Vihar. It’s a tight area with a lot of houses packed together. We keep our doors open from morning until late at night because someone always needs something at the last minute. The shop isn't fancy. We have a lot of shelves that go all the way to the ceiling to make use of the space. Sometimes we have to use a stool to reach the stuff at the top. We sell things like cooking oil, spices, and cleaning supplies. Sangam Vihar is a place where everyone is always on the move. We get a lot of noise from the street, but you get used to it after a week or two. We don't really have a manager in a suit; it’s just us in our regular clothes doing the work. Usually, we are busy weighing out pulses or bagging items for the customers. The air conditioning works okay, but on really hot days, we just open the front wider. We keep our accounts in a thick ledger book because it feels more reliable than a computer. Sometimes the kids from the neighborhood come in to buy single pieces of candy. We know most of the families around here by name. It’s just a local mart trying to keep the neighborhood supplied with the basics. It’s hard work but it's okay.
