Jain Super Store

If you have ever been to the Central Market in Lajpat Nagar, you know how chaotic and loud it is every day. We are right there at C-11. It is a tight space inside the shop, but we pack a lot of goods into it. Jain Super Store has been around for a very long time. It is always noisy outside with people bargaining and the smells from the street food stalls coming in through the door. We do not have much room to move around behind the wooden counter. Most of our day is spent pulling things off the high shelves for the customers. We know most of the regular people by their names. They have been coming to us for decades. The shelves are always overflowing with stock. It is not the most organized place in the world, but we can usually find whatever someone asks for. Sometimes it takes a minute or two of searching. We have stacks of things in the back room that we have to climb over. It is just the way it is in a market like this. We open early in the morning and stay until late at night. By the end of the day, the floor is usually a bit dusty from all the foot traffic. We do not have a website or anything like that, just this shop. My father started this business, and we have just kept it going. It is hard work standing all day, but we like the market.
