Foodmax

Foodmax is located over in Shahpur Jat, right in the Panchsheel Commercial Centre. If you know the area, you know how tight those streets can get. We are on the upper ground floor at number 252, which makes it a bit easier for people to find us when they’re wandering through the Khelgaon Marg side. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but that’s the charm of Shahpur Jat. Inside, it’s always a little chaotic because we are constantly moving things around. There’s usually someone shouting about an order or checking on a delivery. We don’t have much time for sitting around. The kitchen area stays pretty warm, and there’s always a mix of smells coming from whatever is being prepared that morning. We aren’t a big corporation with fancy uniforms; mostly we just wear what’s comfortable for a long shift. People stop by all the time, sometimes just to ask for directions because the building numbers around here don’t always make sense. We’ve been at this for a while, just trying to keep up with the daily rush. It’s a lot of work, but the neighborhood is lively and there’s always something going on outside our door. We just try to get the food out on time and hope the delivery bikes don't get stuck in traffic too badly. It’s just us, working hard in a small corner of the city, getting things ready for whoever is hungry today.
