The Food Junction

We are tucked away in R Block over here in Greater Kailash I. It’s a bit different from the main market areas because it’s a little more tucked back into the residential streets. People who live in the block usually stop by when they don't feel like cooking at home. The space isn't huge, but we have enough room to get things done. We usually start early in the kitchen to get ready for the lunch rush. It’s a lot of chopping and cleaning before the first customer even shows up. The walls could probably use a new coat of paint, but for now, they are fine. We have some tables that wobble a bit if you lean on them too hard. Most of the people who work here have been around for a while, so we know how the locals like their food. It’s a pretty basic setup without any fancy decorations or anything. We just focus on getting the plates out. Sometimes the delivery guys are waiting around the entrance and it gets a bit crowded. We just tell them to wait a minute while we finish the bags and get the lids on tight. The menu board is hand-written because things change sometimes. It’s a busy little spot, especially on Friday nights when everyone is tired. We don't really worry about the frills. We just keep the kitchen running as best as we can.
