Down in South Extension Part II, specifically at A 454 in Lilaram Market, you’ll find us. We just go by The Chef. It’s a busy little market area, always people moving around and looking for something to eat. Our space isn’t very big, so things can get a bit cramped when the lunch rush starts. We spend a lot of time prepping vegetables and making sure the kitchen is ready to go. The heat from the stove is no joke, especially in the afternoons. We don't have a lot of fancy signs or anything. Just the name on the front and the smell of cooking. Sometimes the delivery guys are all lined up outside, and it gets a bit chaotic. We try to keep up as fast as we can. It’s just honest work. We’ve been at this spot for some time now, and we know most of the other shopkeepers around Lilaram Market. It’s a nice community to be part of. We aren't doing anything revolutionary here. We just cook food and hope people enjoy it enough to come back next week. The floor is old and the walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but it feels like home to us. It’s just a kitchen in the middle of a busy South Ex market.
