Suri General Store

Suri General Store is over in Budh Vihar Colony, at C-75. We are in the Tajpur Pahari area of Delhi, zip code 110044. If you know where Sibal Cinema is in Badarpur, we are quite close to that. The shop has been in this spot for a long time. It’s a busy neighborhood with lots of houses crowded together. We sell mostly household items. Things like detergent, oil, rice, and some school supplies for the kids nearby. The road outside can get a bit dusty because of all the construction always happening around Badarpur. We spend a lot of time dusting the jars on the shelves. It’s just me and my son usually working here. We don't have a big warehouse, so we just order what we can fit on the shelves. People come here because it’s convenient. They don't want to go all the way to the big market for one or two items. We keep it honest and simple. There are no big sales or marketing tricks here. Just a counter and a few rows of goods. Sometimes the delivery trucks can't get into the narrow lane of Tajpur Pahari, so we have to carry boxes ourselves from the main road. It’s hard work but it keeps the shop running. We are just a local fixture in the colony, serving the families who live around us every day. We know the routines of the neighborhood and try to be there when people need us most.
