Suraj Carpet Industries Exposition

We are down here on the lower floor of F-73 in Lajpat Nagar-I. It is usually pretty busy outside with people walking by and cars trying to find a spot to park. We have been in this spot for a while now, surrounded by the usual noise of the neighborhood. The space itself isn't huge, but it fits all the carpets we keep around. Most days start with opening up the shutters and making sure things look decent enough for anyone who might wander in. Lajpat Nagar has its own rhythm, you know. Sometimes the electricity goes out for a bit, or the tea seller comes around with those small glass cups. We spend a lot of time just moving things around to make room. It’s mostly about getting the work done and making sure the inventory is tracked right. People ask why we are on the lower floor, but it stays a bit cooler down here when the Delhi heat gets really bad in the summer months. You get used to the stairs after a while. We don't really do much fancy stuff here, just handle the carpets and talk to whoever drops by. It is a straightforward kind of life in this part of town. Sometimes we stand outside for a breather and watch the rickshaws go by. It’s just us doing what we do every day at Suraj Carpet Industries Exposition. Nothing too complicated about it.
