Shukla Store

Shukla Store is on the Main Road in Katwaria Sarai. The shop number is A124. It is a very busy part of Delhi, especially because there are so many students and people living in the area. The street outside is almost never quiet. We open early in the morning to get the fresh supplies of bread and milk ready for the people heading to work or college. The shop itself is not very large, so we have to use every inch of space on the walls to store things. You will see packets of snacks, detergents, and pulses everywhere you look. Sometimes the shop feels a bit small when three or four people are inside at the same time. We have been here for a while and have seen the neighborhood change a lot. The traffic on the main road can be a bit much, and the noise from the horns is constant. We spend our afternoons mostly checking the inventory and making sure we have enough change in the cash box. It is a basic way of life, just helping people get what they need for their kitchens. We do not have any fancy computers or anything; we just use a simple notebook to keep track of things. Usually, we are here until quite late because someone always needs something at the last minute. It is just a regular local store for the people nearby.
