Say Cheese Cafe

We are over at number 9 in the Green Park Extension Community Centre Market, right by Yusuf Sarai. Say Cheese Cafe is a small place we started because we wanted to have a spot for people to grab a bite. It’s not a very big cafe. We have a few tables and some chairs that have been around for a while. We don't have a whole lot of staff, so usually, it’s just one or two of us doing everything from taking the orders to cleaning the tables. The market outside can be a bit busy with people coming and going, but inside it’s usually a bit more relaxed. We make sandwiches and some other quick things to eat. We don’t use any fancy culinary terms or have a celebrity chef. We just cook what we can. Sometimes we run out of bread or the coffee machine acts up, and we have to tell people to wait a bit. We try our best to keep things running smooth. We've been here in Green Park for some time now, and we've seen a lot of other shops come and go. We like our little corner of the market. It’s honest work. We don't spend money on flyers or big posters. People just find us by walking past. We spend our evenings closing up and getting ready for the next day. It’s just a normal cafe run by normal people. We just keep the kitchen going every single day of the week.
