Savoury

Savoury is located at B-24 in Greater Kailash-I, right across from the N-Block Market. This is a pretty lively part of town, so there is always something going on outside our door. We’ve been at this spot for quite a bit now. The building is an older one, but it works for us. Inside, we just focus on getting the food right. We don’t have fancy decor or anything meant to impress. The tables are simple and the menu is just what we know how to make best. Being across from the market means we get a mix of shoppers and people who live in the neighborhood. Some days are quiet, especially when it’s raining, but mostly there’s a good hum of people coming and going. We spend a lot of time in the back getting things ready. Sometimes we run out of things if it’s a particularly busy afternoon, and we just have to tell people we’re out. We don’t have a big corporate office or a marketing department. It’s just a few of us making sure the place is clean and the orders are taken correctly. We see the same faces every week, which is nice. It feels more like a neighborhood kitchen than a business. We just keep our heads down, do the work, and hope people enjoy what they're eating. The street outside can be a mess with parking, but once people are inside, it’s a bit more relaxed. That’s just life in GK-I for us.
