Sangam Direct

Our shop is right on the Main Shivalik Road at A-8, not too far from Aurobindo College. Because of where we are, we get a lot of students coming in for quick snacks and drinks, along with the families who live around Malviya Nagar. This Sangam Direct location stays pretty busy because Shivalik Road is a major route for everyone in this part of Delhi. We spend a good chunk of our day just keeping up with the demand for everyday items. The shelves are packed with everything from cleaning supplies to packets of noodles. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes when we have a lot of customers, but that’s just how it is in this part of town. We’ve got a small team here, and we all pitch in with everything—unloading the delivery vans, helping someone find a specific brand of flour, or running the register. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We don’t have fancy displays or loud music playing. It’s mostly just the sound of the traffic outside and the beep of the scanner. We try to keep the basics in stock so no one has to go too far to find what they need for dinner. It’s a busy life, and by the time we close up, we’re usually pretty tired, but we’re back at it again the next morning.
