Rara Momos

Rara Momos is a small spot at Saket on Agni Road, number 1. We are right on the street, so you can’t really miss the steam coming off the pots. It is not a big restaurant or anything like that. We just have a small space where we prepare the momos and steam them up fresh. We spend hours every morning just making the dough and the fillings. It is a lot of work for your hands, and they get pretty tired by the end of the day. We have the spicy red chutney that everyone seems to like, although we sometimes make it a bit too hot by accident. People usually just stand around outside to eat or they take the plates back to their cars. It is a very busy road, so there is always the sound of traffic and people shouting. We don't have any tables or chairs for people to sit down. The steamer is always going, and the steam makes everything around it feel a bit damp. We are just a few people working here, trying to keep up with the demand. Sometimes we sell out of everything before we are supposed to close, and we just have to pack up early. It is a simple way to make a living. We don't have any big plans, we just want to keep making the food the way we know how. It is just a local street food spot.
