Rapti Chinese Food

You can find us at 27-C/4 in Gautam Nagar. We go by Rapti Chinese Food. It’s not a very big place, just a simple spot where we do all our cooking. We’ve been here for some time now, and the neighbors seem to know us well. Gautam Nagar is a crowded area, so there’s always people walking past the door. We don’t have a lot of space for sitting, so many people just take their food and go. We don’t have any big marketing budgets or anything like that. We just rely on the smell of the food to bring people in. Sometimes the kitchen gets really hot, especially in the summer, but we keep at it. It’s a basic operation. We buy our ingredients, cook them up, and serve them at 27-C/4. We don't try to be anything we're not. It’s just honest work. Some days are better than others, depending on the weather or if there's a holiday. We like the hustle and bustle of the street. It keeps things interesting. We don't have a fancy mission statement or a polished look. We just want to finish the day knowing we did a decent job. If you’re around Gautam Nagar, you’ll probably see our sign eventually. We are usually here until late at night. It’s just how we run the place.
