Rajdhani Nursery

If you walk down Jor Bagh Road near Karbala, you’ll find us at Rajdhani Nursery. It’s a bit of a green spot in a busy part of the city. We spend most of our time with our hands in the dirt, which is exactly how we like it. There’s always something that needs watering or a plant that needs a bigger pot. It’s not a high-tech business by any means. We rely on the sun and some good compost. The staff here is mostly just a few guys who have been working with plants their whole lives. We don’t really have a front desk or a formal waiting area. You just walk in and see what we have growing at the moment. Some seasons are better than others, and sometimes we lose a few plants to the heat, but that’s just how it goes. We’ve been at this location for years, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit around us. We don't have a fancy website or a marketing person. Most people just know us from word of mouth or by seeing the trees peeking over the fence. We keep things pretty relaxed here. If you want a plant, we help you find one and tell you how to keep it alive. It’s not much more complicated than that. We just enjoy being outside and seeing things grow year after year. It is a nice way to spend the day.
