You'll find us at E-41 in Hauz Khas. Most people think of this area as a place for trendy cafes and shopping, and it is, but we’re here doing our daily work too. Products Of India is the name on our door, but inside it’s just a regular workspace. We have shelves filled with all sorts of items from different parts of the country. It’s not a fancy museum-style display or anything. It’s more like a busy warehouse where things are coming in and going out all the time. The streets around here are very narrow and can be a real pain to navigate with a delivery van, but we always make it work. We’ve been here for quite some time, and we’ve seen the neighborhood change a lot over the years. We haven't changed much, though. We still do things the old-fashioned way, mostly with a lot of phone calls and manual checking. We don't have a big mission statement. We just find things that we think are okay and we try to sell them to people who want them. Some days we are incredibly busy and the phone doesn't stop ringing. Other days it’s quiet enough that we can actually tidy up the back room. We aren't trying to be the biggest or the most famous business. We just want to keep the lights on and keep doing what we’ve been doing. It’s a decent way to earn a living.
