Pradeep Kirana General Shop

Pradeep Kirana General Shop has been sitting here on the 60 Futa Road in Badarpur for a good while. We are in the M.B. Extension area, very close to Sunil Dairy. If you live in Delhi, you know how crowded and loud things can get, and our street is no different. We sell basic groceries, spices, pulses, and the usual things you'd find in a neighborhood kirana. The shop is small and the shelves are packed tight. Sometimes it’s a bit of a struggle to find a spot for new stock, so we end up piling things near the counter. I’ve lived in this 110044 area my whole life, so I know most people who come in to buy their daily milk or tea leaves. We aren't fancy and we don't have air conditioning. Just a regular shop with a counter and a lot of jars. My son helps me out after his school, and we just keep the place running six days a week. We don't do any big promotions or sales. We just sell things at the normal price. It’s a lot of work to keep track of everything, but it’s what we do. People stop by for a chat as much as they do for shopping. That’s just the way it is in Badarpur. We just keep the door open and wait for the next customer. It's a bit dusty today, but we’ll sweep it up soon and start again.
