Pbc Design & Furnishings is located on the first floor of F-15 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-I. Being in Okhla means you are right in the heart of the city's manufacturing and design hub. The street outside is almost always blocked with trucks unloading materials, so getting to the office can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. Once you get up to the first floor, things are a little quieter. We have samples of fabrics and wood finishes all over the place, which can make the office feel a bit cramped but it shows what we are working on. We don't have a big fancy showroom. Instead, we just have our workspace where we plan out furnishings and designs for various projects. The windows look out over a row of other industrial buildings, and there is a constant hum from the factories nearby. We've been at F-15 for a while now, and we know the neighborhood pretty well. The tea man comes around twice a day, and that’s usually when we take our only real breaks. It’s a very hands-on environment. You won't find anyone in suits here; we are usually covered in a bit of dust or carrying heavy catalogs around. We just focus on the task at hand and try to get the designs right. It’s a busy life in Phase-I, but we wouldn't want to be anywhere else.
