Pahwa Store

If you are ever around Lajpat Nagar 4, specifically the Old Double Storey area, you might have seen Pahwa Store. We are at B-29, in Part 4. It’s a bit of a maze back here if you aren’t used to the lanes, but we are quite close to the Sai Mandir. A lot of people use the temple as a landmark to find us. This shop has been here through many seasons. Lajpat Nagar is always moving, always busy with shoppers and cars everywhere. Our little corner is a bit quieter than the main central market, but we still get plenty of folks coming through. We mostly deal with the people living in the flats nearby. They know us by name, and we know what they usually buy. Sometimes the deliveries arrive late and we have to shuffle things around to make space. It’s just me and a helper most days. We don’t have a website or any of that, just the physical shop where you can walk in and grab what you need. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but the stock is what matters. We stay open late most nights because that is when people realize they forgot something for dinner. It’s a decent living and we like being in this part of Delhi. It feels like home to us after all these years.
