Olive Bar & Kitchen

Mehrauli is a special part of the city, and that is where you will find Olive Bar & Kitchen. It is a bit of an old area with a lot of history, and we feel like we fit in pretty well there. The place is mostly about the space and the people who come to visit us. We don't go for that super polished corporate look. Instead, we have a lot of white walls and trees that have been there forever. Running a kitchen in an old area like Mehrauli has its challenges. The plumbing can be temperamental and sometimes the power goes out, but we make do. It is all part of the charm, I guess. We spend our mornings getting the place ready, wiping down tables and checking the garden. When evening comes, it gets a bit more lively. We see all sorts of people walking through the doors, from families to young couples. We don't have a big mission statement posted on the wall. We just want people to have a place where they can sit and talk. Our staff has been with us through thick and thin, and we mostly feel like a big family. It is a lot of work, and our shoes are usually dirty by the end of the shift, but it is worth it. Mehrauli is our home, and we are just happy to be a small part of it.
