About Occupation Writing Food Related – Food & Beverages in South Delhi
I’m working out of N 121 in Panchshila Park, New Delhi. This is where I do all my writing about food. It’s a nice area of the city, fairly green and quiet compared to some of the other spots in Delhi. My days are mostly spent sitting at a desk, typing away about different recipes or places to eat. It sounds more exciting than it is, because mostly it’s just me and my computer and a lot of empty coffee mugs. I don’t have a big team or a flashy office. It’s just a room where I can focus. Sometimes I walk around Panchshila Park when I get stuck on a sentence or need a break from the screen. The neighborhood has some good spots to grab a quick bite, which helps when you’re writing about food all day and get hungry. I try to keep the writing simple and real, just like the way people actually talk about their meals. There’s no big corporate strategy here. I just look at my notes, maybe check some photos, and try to put words together that make sense. It can be a bit lonely sometimes, but I like the quiet. New Delhi is a big, loud city, so having this little corner to work in is pretty good. It’s a basic setup, just a desk, a lamp, and my thoughts on what tastes good.
