Nirula'S

Nirula’S is located over at Plot No 46 in Zakir Nagar, right in the Okhla area. It is actually part of the space belonging to Jarrar Husain and Wisal Mehdi. Being in this part of New Delhi means things are always moving fast and there is a lot of noise from the street outside. Our day starts early with checking the fridge and making sure all the supplies are where they should be. The kitchen gets pretty hot during the summer months, but that is just how it is when you are working with food all day. People from around the neighborhood stop by often, and we recognize many of the faces who come in for a quick bite. It is a bit of a tight space, so we have to be careful not to bump into each other when it gets crowded. We spend a lot of time cleaning up tables and making sure the floor isn't sticky. It’s not some corporate skyscraper; it’s a local spot where we try to keep things organized. Sometimes the delivery guys are late because of the traffic jams near the gate, and we have to explain that to waiting customers. We don't use big words or fancy talk here. We just handle the orders and keep the place running as best as we can. It’s hard work, and by the end of the day, we are all quite tired, but we come back the next morning and do it all over again.
