New Delhi Food Corner

Our food corner is located at shop 42 in the Community Centre of New Friends Colony. It’s a pretty standard spot for this area. We’ve been here for a while, serving whatever people are looking for during their lunch breaks. The place isn't very big, so it's mostly a lot of people coming in and out quickly. We have a few tables if you want to sit down, but they’re usually full during the middle of the day. The kitchen is right there behind the counter, so you can hear everything going on. We make a variety of local dishes, nothing too complicated. We get our supplies delivered every day to keep things moving. The staff is just a couple of guys who have been with us for years. We don't really do any advertising; people just find us because we’re right in the middle of the community centre. It gets a bit noisy with all the shops around, but that’s just the vibe of New Friends Colony. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to manage with the backup, which can be a bit of a headache. We just try to serve the food as it is and keep the prices fair. It’s a busy life running a food stall in Delhi, but we are used to the pace by now.
