About National Solar Energy Federation Of India – Energy in South Delhi
We are up on the 7th floor of Chiranjiv Towers, located at 43 Nehru Place. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s a total scramble for parking and the elevators are always packed. Our office is number 702. It’s usually full of people on laptops or talking on their mobiles about solar panels and government policies. We aren't a factory; it’s more of a hub where we try to get everyone in the solar business to talk to each other. There are stacks of reports and papers everywhere, and the coffee machine is the most important piece of equipment we own. It gets a bit hectic when there’s a big meeting or when the weather is particularly bad outside. We don’t have fancy decorations, just some maps and maybe a few photos of solar farms on the walls. Most of the day is spent answering emails or trying to organize events that always seem to have last-minute changes. It’s a lot of coordination work. We hear the noise of the city from the windows all day long. People come in and out, usually looking for some information or a connection in the industry. We just try to stay on top of the pile of work and keep things moving for the members. It's busy, it's crowded, but it's what we do here in the middle of the city.
