Mughal Era Food & Spices Co.

Our place is situated in Okhla at F-16, Batla House. We are right in the middle of Jamia Nagar, near Nafees Road. If you know this part of Delhi, you know how packed the streets are and how many people live here. We focus on traditional food and spices. Our shop is not very large, and it is located in an old building where the space is a bit tight. We have sacks of spices stacked against the walls and a small counter where we serve people. It gets very busy in the afternoons when everyone is out shopping for their dinner. We don't use any polished marketing or have a fancy logo. We just rely on the fact that people in the neighborhood know us. The work involves a lot of weighing and packing. Sometimes the smells from the different spices mix together and it can be quite overwhelming for someone who isn't used to it. We have a few people who help us out with the heavy lifting and the deliveries. We aren't some big corporation with a mission statement. We are just a local business trying to make a living in a very busy part of the city. We keep our prices as low as we can because we know the people who live here. It is hard work, but we have been doing it for a long time now.
