Meal N Yam

Meal N Yam is located in Sukhdev Vihar C S C Market 7. I spend most of my life inside this shop. It’s not a very big place, especially the kitchen area where I do most of my work. The C S C Market 7 is a local spot, so we don’t get a lot of tourists or strangers. It’s mostly just the people who live in Sukhdev Vihar. I’ve been running this for a while now. My brother helps out when things get busy, but usually, it’s just me handling the orders. The heat from the stove can be quite a lot during the summer months. I don’t have air conditioning, just a ceiling fan that spins as fast as it can. I try to keep the place as clean as possible, but it’s a constant job with all the cooking. We don’t have any big mission or corporate goals. I just want to make sure the food is ready on time and that people are satisfied. The address is easy to find if you know the market. I don't spend money on advertising. Word of mouth is enough for a small place like ours. I like the quiet moments when I can just sit by the door and watch people walking by in the market. It’s a simple way to live. I don’t need anything more than this shop and the work I do every day.
