Maurya Publishers

Our place, Maurya Publishers, is on the first floor of H-16/216. We are located right near the Police Chowki Road in Sangam Vihar. It is a crowded area, so there is always something happening right outside our window. Inside, it is mostly just stacks of paper and books waiting to be sorted or sent out. We spend a lot of time looking at drafts and checking for errors before anything goes to the printer. It is a lot of sitting and reading, really. The office can get a bit cluttered with all the boxes of books, but we know where everything is. People come by to talk about their manuscripts or to pick up copies of things we have worked on. It is not a silent library atmosphere here. Usually, there is a printer humming in the background or someone talking on the phone with a supplier. We do not have a fancy lobby or a receptionist at the front. You just walk up to the first floor and you will find us working. We deal with all sorts of writing, from small local projects to bigger things. Sangam Vihar is a busy spot, and sometimes the noise from the street makes it hard to concentrate, but we have gotten used to it over the years. We just focus on the pages in front of us and keep producing books.
