Mangala Stores

Mangala Stores is sitting right on Yusuf Sarai Main Road, at number 73/1. If you know the Yusuf Sarai Main Market, you’ve probably walked past us many times. It’s a very busy spot near Green Park, and the noise from the traffic never really stops until very late at night. We keep the store open long hours because people around here are always on the go. There are a lot of offices and homes nearby, so one minute we are selling a bottle of water to a commuter and the next it is a whole bag of groceries to a local grandmother. The shop is filled with all sorts of things, from snacks and drinks to cleaning supplies and grains. Sometimes the stock piles up a bit high in the aisles, making it a little tight to walk through, but people don’t seem to mind much. We try to keep things organized, though during the evening rush, it gets a bit chaotic. I spend a lot of my time checking the dates on the milk and making sure the fridge is cooling properly. It’s a lot of standing on your feet and dealing with different kinds of people all day. Some are in a big hurry and others want to stay and chat. We just try to get everyone what they need so they can get on with their day. It’s just a normal market shop and we have been here for years. We know how to find everything in here.
